Performances

Dimensions in Dance annually performs a full length production at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH. Many families say that one of their favorite things about our school is the annual performance because it is not a recital. All dancers at our school from pre-ballet to adult classes are involved in our productions, albeit it is not a requirement. We rent professional backdrops from companies in California, and build sets and props. We feel this is a wonderful experience for dancers of all ages as they feel part of a real show. They can tell their friends and family, “I am a fairy in Never Never Land,” rather than “I am in my dance recital.”

Our costumes this past year were all handmade by Mary’s Closet, an award winning theatrical costumer in Manchester NH. Although it was quite the undertaking, Dimensions in
Dance wanted to put money back into the local economy, rather than buy costumes made in third world countries.
